Hello and Welcome
A warm welcome to you! As you may be looking for a counsellor or psychotherapist for yourself, or for a supervisor of your counselling and psychotherapy practice, I have ‘laid out my stall’ so that you’ll be able to find helpful information quickly and easily.
I am a qualified and widely experienced senior counsellor and psychotherapist with 30 years of rigorous yet enjoyable training and practical experience. Over these years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many women and men to pick up the pieces of broken lives, and celebrated with them as their counselling and therapy has ended. It’s a joy to see people walk on into their futures feeling poised and purposeful. They know that the insights they have gained through the counselling will stay with them long after the sessions end.
On the Introduction page there are details about the training I have undertaken, and the areas of professional experience that have deepened and broadened my ability.
The first meeting page outlines what to expect in a first session. There is also a brief resume of counselling models that I draw from, and a list of some of the difficulties that people have brought to their counselling.
The next step offers guidance on how to contact me, the fee, and the location, parking and transport services.
Living Well is a page that changes regularly. The aim is to offer you a resource to dip into (like a well) that offers new ways of thinking about events in life, and to encourage you to practice new self-supporting skills, so that you can ‘Live well’. Any of the characters that appear are entirely fictitional.
